Join us for an informal get-together in the 1936 lounge at The Oaks Hotel, Neutral Bay, usually on the first Monday of each month starting at 7 pm. These are known as ‘Draught Discussion’ evenings and there is no set agenda or readings.

To check the date of the next evening, email us at nbucenquiries@gmail.com
Examples of past discussion groups (4-6 evenings) include:
Talking Back to the Bible by Edward G. Simmons
Leading up to one Christmas we studied the Christmas story in the 4 Gospels.
Over 6 evenings we discussed Grounded, by Diana Butler Bass.
‘Analyzing current trends, news, data, literature, and pop culture, Bass shows how the world of church and spiritual practice are changing, moving outside the walls of the church and into the world around us, and cites spiritual texts, ancient traditions, theologists, teachers, and anecdotes from her own religious journey to explore the evolving life of faith. As she reports on the changes happening in the church and in religious communities across the country, she offers advice and insight to help readers join this emerging movement and become grounded in their own spiritual journey.’ [from the publisher’s description]
