Progressive Christianity

Neutral Bay Uniting Church embraces a truly open form of Christianity that embodies our four core values of Inclusion, Inquiry, Justice & Creativity. Our we strive for a truly open table where everyone is welcome to receive God’s love and justice. We sit firmly in the Uniting Church of Australia’s tradition of being a voice for the voiceless. Our beliefs centre around how God calls us to action in modelling Jesus’ care and concern for the marginalised and the oppressed.

Our approach to the Bible, theology, the purpose of the church and God’s call on our lives is rooted in our identity in the Uniting Church and our calling to be a truly safe and welcoming house of worship.

No matter where you are in your beliefs or your theology we encourage open and respectful dialogue as seek Christ’s truth in what we believe and who we are. You are welcome on that journey.
